Yaron Samid, Founder & CEO

Yaron has been building successful consumer-empowering products and companies since 1997, reaching a combined 150 million users. A three-time entrepreneur, Yaron is driven to better the world by combining his passions for disruptive Internet technologies and simple user experience design. Having been frustrated by the hassle of checking his credit card bills, Yaron set out to reinvent the way we all check our bills, together. Prior to BillGuard Yaron co-founded peer-to-peer media delivery leader Pando Networks, and led product and marketing teams at BackWeb, Zend and Register.com. He currently serves on the boards of CloudLock and Pond5 and is the founder and organizer of TechAviv, the 3,000 member Israeli startup founders club with branches in Silicon Valley, New York, Boston and Tel Aviv. Yaron is a member of the Obama administration's White House Business Council, a 2012 recipient of Mayor Bloomberg's NYC Venture Fellow Award and a regular lecturer on entrepreneurship at Stanford and Columbia business schools.

Raphael Ouzan, Founder & CTO

A world renowned cyber and data security expert, Raphael Ouzan leads BillGuard's technology and product teams in its Tel Aviv R&D office. Raphael has been coding professionally since the age of 13 and has been lecturing on big-data, crowdsourcing and cyber security ever since. In 2010 he teamed up with Yaron to co-found BillGuard and built its first version and core technology. Raphael received Israel's highest President's Award for technology innovation and was invited to address world leaders at The World Economic Forum 2012 in Davos, all before the age 25. Prior to BillGuard, Raphael was a decorated officer in Israel's elite military programming and intelligence units where he led the country's best and brightest engineers. Raphael is also the founder of Mission Intelligence, an elite technology training program for the world's top performing students.

Amir Orad, Board Member

Mr Orad is the Chief Executive Officer at Actimize, a FinTech 100 financial crime and anti fraud company servicing the largest banks worldwide. Orad held various executive positions in the company and was its CMO when it was acquired by NICE Systems for $280M in 2007. Prior to Actimize, Mr. Orad was a co-founder and EVP Marketing of Cyota Inc., an online security and anti-fraud company that was acquired by RSA Security for $145M in 2005. Following the acquisition, he was Vice President of Marketing at RSA.

Adam Fisher, Board Member

Adam Fisher is a partner at Bessemer Venture Partners, and based in the firm's office in Herzliya, Israel. He founded Bessemer's Israel office in 2007, where the firm has been investing since 1992. Adam currently serves on the boards of companies including Wix, Soluto, BillGuard, Altair, Densbits, Siano, Enforta, and Fiverr. Most recently Adam was on the board of Storwize prior to its acquisition by IBM.

Tim O'Reilly, Advisory Board Member

Tim O'Reilly is the founder and CEO of O'Reilly Media. His original business plan was "interesting work for interesting people," and that's worked out pretty well. He publishes books, runs conferences, invests in early-stage startups, urges companies to create more value than they capture, and tries to change the world by spreading and amplifying the knowledge of innovators.

Scott Loftesness, Advisory Board Member

Scott Loftesness is the co-founder of Glenbrook Partners and the co-author of the book: "Payments Systems in the U.S." Scott was previously group EVP at First Data Merchant Services and group EVP at Visa International. At Visa he led the development of global payment systems strategies, including Visa's R&D initiatives related to card payments, Internet payments and advanced card technologies.

Steve Elefant, Advisory Board Member

Steve Elefant is the founder and Managing Director of Soaring Ventures and a Sr. Strategic Consultant to Google. Prior to Google, Steve served as CIO of Heartland Payment Systems (NYSE:HPY). Steve was the founder of several successful Silicon Valley startup and venture capital firms, including ICVerify. Steve is a member of the US Secret Service Electronic Crimes Task Force and the FBI’s Infragard Electronic Crimes Task Force.

Schwark Satyavolu, Advisory Board Member

Schwark is the founder and CEO of TruAxis (BillShrink). Prior to BillShrink, Schwark was the co-founder and CTO of Yodlee, makers of the industry standard platform for financial data aggregation. BillGuard uses the Yodlee platform to ensure the accurate and secure transfer of our users private credit/debt card transaction data.

Dale Fuller, Advisory Board Member

Dale is the CEO at MokaFive. He previously served as CEO of McAfee and CEO of Borland. He serves on the boards of AVG, Krugle, Phoenix Technologies and Quest Aircraft Company. Dale founded one of the leading community sites on the Internet, WhoWhere, later acquired by Lycos. As a start-up company CEO, Dale led the expansion of numerous domain sites, including Angelfire.com and Mailcity.

Bessemer Venture Partners (BVP) - Founded in New York in 1911, BVP has funded over 100 start-ups that went on to become independent public companies, among them Skype, Hotjobs, Yelp, Versant (now Symantec), and Staples. From offices in New York, Silicon Valley, Boston, Mumbai and Herzliya, BVP today manages more than US$2 billion of venture capital, invested in more than 130 start-ups around the world.

Khosla Ventures

Khosla Ventures is a venture capital firm run by people who listen to, analyze, and advise entrepreneurs. We manage a main fund that supports early and late-stage investments and a seed fund for developing very early-stage experiments. We focus on next-generation energy projects, new materials, mobility, the Internet and silicon technology. Our firm was established in 2004 by Vinod Khosla, who helped turn a computer science project into Sun Microsystems, a multibillion-dollar phenomenon.

IA Ventures

IA Ventures is a seed stage venture fund focused on "big data" technologies. Limited Partners are world-class firms in the data, trading and financial technology arenas. Areas of interest include predictive analytics, anomaly detection, database architecture, high-performance computing and machine learning. The Accelerator Group (TAG)

Based in London, TAG is the angel investment fund of Saul and Robin Klein. The two have been advisors and investors in early stage and start-up companies since 1995. They focus on the Internet services, eCommerce and multi-channel retail sectors, investing primarily in the US and Europe.

Yaron Galai

Yaron Galai is the co-founder and CEO of Outbrain, the leading content recommendation engine on the web. He previously co-founded Quigo (Acquired by AOL) and Ad4ever (Acquired by Atlas). Yaron has become an avid angel investor in emerging consumer web startups.

Joe Lonsdale

Joe Lonsdale currently serves as the CEO of Addepar, an emerging leader in private wealth management technology. Joe worked with the financial arm of PayPal while at university and then joined as an early executive at Clarium Capital. He was a key player in growing Clarium into a $5-billion AUM world-class global macro hedge fund during his five year tenure. In 2004, Joe co-founded Palantir Technologies - a software company in Palo Alto, California which develops mission-critical analysis systems used by government and financial organizations around the world. Palantir is a market leader in several government segments and is one of the fastest growing companies in Silicon Valley.
